Born and bred in Wairarapa, lived on farm in Gladstone, have a love of critters … not many photos of me as a kid without an animal of some type. Went to boarding school where lots of mischief was made! Lived in Darwin for 10 years and had 2 kids, loved the food, people and climate but missed the seasons and family/friends. So settled back in Gladstone area. Spent years on fundraising committees organising school fairs, country balls and events, as well as Top Road competitions. Always full of fun. Love to be around family &friends , enjoy meeting new people and creating reasons to get together. Work for a large company doing admin which I love doing ..helping frontline staff from my little desk at home. I love to help those who need a friend to talk to… we all have ups and downs and I believe we really need to help each other through the tough times and share the good ones too. I love arts and crafts and always try to find time to create a gift or something to sell that I have made. My latest craze is stained glass. I relax in the garden and love to watch nature …really love gardening and seeing little plants I have saved grow. To have a vegie garden and create some delicious meals from the produce is just magic! Always looking for new adventures and after many life changes and bumps along the way I am looking forward to some settled years enjoying those around me and creating some new events and experiences for us all.
