MELBOURNE CUP DAY AT THE GOLDEN AGE TAVERN 🐎
Tuesday 4th November | Main Race at 5PM

The race that stops the nation is almost here! And of course, we’re celebrating in true Bluffy style ♥️🤍🖤

We’ll be open Monday so you can get your bets in early, we’re the only TAB in Bluff, and you’ve got to be in it to win it.
Sweepstakes will be running throughout the day, and we’re inviting everyone to dress to impress with prizes up for grabs for Best Dressed Men’s and Women’s.

There’ll be beer and champagne flowing, and in true Bluffy fashion, we’ll be putting on a complimentary feast prepared by Hayz At The Anchorage for all our guests after the main race at 5pm.

Hayz and Paddles are teaming up to bring you an unforgettable feed—rooted in tradition, elevated by fire and flavour.
No shortcuts. No liquid smoke.
Just real volcanic rocks, mutton cloths, time-honoured technique and years of experience.

Our Gourmet Hāngi Includes:
• Pork Ribs – Basted in our signature Anchorage sticky rib sauce
• Marinated Chicken – Infused with classic Vegeta spices
• Meat Loaf – Seasoned with Stef’s Rub One Out blend and based in a sweet soy marinade
• Steamed Stuffing – Loaded with watercress, seasoning, butter (a lot of butter), and a few secret touches we’re not sharing
• Seasonal Vegetables – Potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, cabbage, and locally foraged Bluff watercress hand-picked by Hayz herself
