It ain't easy being this cheesy 🧀 Morningside now has its very own Chicago-style deep dish pizza spot inside 605 Morningside Drinkery - Chicago deep dish co ‍🍕

Trey and his business partner have spent a while dialling in their Chicago deep dish recipes 😋 Everything starts with an in-house dough base, loaded up with mozzarella and toppings, baked slow before getting topped with house marinara and another layer of cheese 🔥

Unlike your standard flat slice, authentic Chicago deep dish is built more like a savoury pie - baked deep in a pan with tall crust walls, cheese layered at the bottom, and sauce on top 🍕

Pictured here is the Smoked Pork & Fennel Sausage, featuring meat they smoke themselves 💨 It comes loaded with stretchy mozzarella and chilli flakes on that signature deep dish crust 🌶️

Pair your slice with cold cans of local Morningc***r or a cocktail from behind the bar at 605 🍸 Known for its cosy setup and regular live gigs, it makes a great neighbourhood hangout to grab a table and share a pie 🎸
