is nestled in the belly of Tantalus Estate, behind solid vault doors lies the Alibi Brewing Co. A state-of-the-art, New Zealand made brewhouse with the capacity to brew up to 50k litres annually. Just enough to keep the workers watered, and the Estate patrons happy. The brewery produces a wide array of styles with the emphasis being on creating seasonal releases, with each batch being a mere 1000l when finished. At Alibi Brewing Co. we strive for flavour and complexity, whilst clutching onto the balance between malt, hops, yeast and sink-ability which must be the undertow of every great beer. Introducing Demo Derby, our new West Coast Pilsner celebrating one of Waiheke’s favourite pastimes: gathering on a hillside to watch a line-up of spray-painted wrecks knock the living daylights out of each other.

Bonnets buckle, bumpers fly and red clay rains from the skies. Somewhere in the chaos, one battered beauty keeps its wheels turning long enough to claim the glory!

Release the Kraken. Something big has been lurking beneath the surface, and it’s finally broken free. A monster Hazy DIPA with absolutely no respect for maritime law. Mango pulp, candied pineapple and pink grapefruit surge through the haze, with a streak of red berry beneath. Plush and saturated, it carries its strength with smooth depth. Big, unruly and here to cause trouble, this one’s for those who like their b**rs on the monstrous side.

Back when Pac-Man ruled the maze, Donkey Kong launched barrels and Street Fighter bruised egos, the arcade was sacred ground. Pockets full of coins, glowing cabinets and absolutely no intention of leaving after one game.
