Day two of the spring tour is all done. Morning was spent checking out the kerikeri market, rainbow falls and local restaurants and cafes for lunch. Small drive over to kawakawa to catch a neat train trip then back to Paihia for dinner.

Day one of the spring tour is almost complete. Good cruise up to a private antique store in Matakohe, then to the Packard museum. Lots of lovely cars and then lunch. Fish and chips for me and a game of spacies on an old machine! Bliss!! Then a wet drive up to Paihia to our motel. Dinner at a rib shack. Shall detox on Tuesday 😬.

We have new date the 8th of Nov for our Club Open Day. Rain date is: Sunday 22 Nov. Any car, motorcycle or truck over 30 years is welcome. Don’t need to be a member. Tell your friends and family. Last show we had over 250 vehicles attending- it’s a great show! Post a pic of the vehicle you will bring!

Great outing today for “Russel’s run”. First run for the new club captain and it was a great one. Good local roads and view of the Penlink construction, then up to Waiwera for lunch. Great turnout! You need to come along next time.
