28 YEARS AT THE MONARCH… AND COUNTING ❤️

For 28 years, Dean Sheppard has been the proud owner of The Monarch, and while you may have spotted him out and about in a new role with Harcourts recently, The Monarch is still very much his home too.

Dean has added real estate to his working week, but he continues to own and operate The Monarch alongside our amazing team.

After nearly three decades, he’s certainly not disappearing that easily! 😂

So these days you might find Dean showing a house one minute and back at The Monarch having a yarn with the locals the next.

What a moment for Counties Manukau! 🏆 The Steelers have brought the Ranfurly Shield home, and tomorrow Pukekohe gets to celebrate with them!

The team and the Shield will be making their way down Main Street tomorrow from 12pm — so come into town, get behind the boys and soak up the atmosphere! 🙌

And while you’re here, make a stop at The Monarch before or after the parade for a bite to eat, a cold drink and a little more celebrating 🍻

There’s plenty of Counties history here too — our owner and counties legand Dean Sheppard wore the red, black and white back in his playing days, so you can guarantee we’ll be celebrating this one! ❤️🖤
