Hosted by the Palliser Estate Winemaker, Guy McMaster, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of a carefully selected range of premium Palliser Estate wines alongside the vibrant, fruit-forward Pencarrow collection, featuring beautifully balanced whites and reds.
Your evening begins with a generous artisan cheese grazing board, thoughtfully curated to complement the wines, followed by a delicious buffet dinner prepared by our chefs. To make the evening even more special, exclusive one-night-only offerson the featured Palliser Estate and Pencarrow wines will be available throughout the event, giving you the perfect opportunity to take home your favourites.

About Guy McMaster
Winemaker and Viticulturist Guy is one of those great Kiwi blokes, who’s been knocking around the wine industry for over 15 years. In that time, he’s worked, well, just about everywhere. After studying Viticulture and Oenology at Lincoln University, he did vineyard and winery work in Central Otago, America and then joined Escarpment here in Martinborough as their Assistant Winemaker. They quickly saw his potential and he moved into a Vineyard Management role as well, before moving to Urlar as their Winemaker / Viticulturist. Finally, at the beginning of 2016 the lure of Palliser was too great, and he joined the team, bringing with him the vision, passion and drive to set up and implement Palliser's organics programme. Guy is a South Islander (who now calls the Wairarapa home), an outdoorsman, a keen golfer, a family man and consumer of fine wine.
