Here we go folks! Our last round of performers, and it's our beautiful wordsmiths - the poets!
Keep on swipin to see their gorgeous faces!

Michael is a writer/poet, in Tāmaki Makaurau. He's been writing poetry since 2019, after finally putting pen to paper. His writings speak from the heart. Self-reflective, emotive, and thoughtful, only sharing with close friends, he is performing tonight with encouragement from his friends and whānau.

Jess Holly Bates (they/them) is a Pākehā writer and performer, who loves to make things about bodies, politics and place – they have performed all over the world, but this is a rare chance to see them outside their living room, fresh pēpi on their hip.

And lastly...

She's back, it's the one and only Capt' MF Sunshine. IYKYK and if you don't, well folks, you're in for an absolute treat!!! We so excited to see you return to the MYN whānau QUEEN.

We love our Make Your Noise comedians and this month is no exception!

Keep on swiping to see who you can catch this Friday the

Jacqui Hooper: Brand new to the Make Your Noise stage, we’re super stoked to have her share her laugh and chats with us all

Heta Dawson: With a dollop of 'born and bred’ South Auckland styles. Add in a sprinkle of life with his very large whanau and their antics. Take a pinch of ‘wtf’ and wrap that all up in a person of colour (that colour being Maori), well you get a very comedic perspective of his world

Ocean Denham: Fresh faced Songbird and stand up comedian Ocean Denham has exploded onto the Aotearoa comedy scene. She’s been making waves and a name for herself. ‘Hot tip: make sure you know the name Ocean Denham.’ – Backstage Christchurch reviewer, Sophie Ricketts

Why are we making Make Your Noise covid free?
Well, it's simple. Absolutely everyone deserves to access the arts, and with mandates gone and covid still in the community - it's super tricky for our immunocompromised and vulnerable to covid pals to go to events safely.
We think it's up to all event producers to be proactive and consider what steps they can take to make spaces as inclusive as possible.
Come support local creatives and in our mission to make space for everyone!

Yes Folks!

This month we're making space for EVERYONE. We're creating a safe space for all, including our vulnerable, immunocompromised and disabled communities!

What this means - if you (can prove) you're covid free, you'll get in free - just do a RAT before the show and let us know! Help make the arts accessible for everyone
