To our Leo's family.
Well what a ride it has been. Unfortunately due to what will be an earlier than expected arrival of our newest family member, we have made the decision to close Leo's. We had originally planned to continue trading until the end of the month. However it would seem our wee girl has other ideas. As many people are aware we have sold Leo's. With a young and now growing family we decided we needed to re-address our work life balance and to get that right something had to give.
We are all proud and humbled by what we have achieved as a team at Leo's. Almost 2 and a half years ago we opened Leo's with the goal of giving allenton it's local back - something many people told us couldn't be done. We had almost no money in the bank, but we did have a dream and we made it work the way we could. Leo's may not have been everything to everyone, but Leo's has been everything to some, and to watch connections made and watch friendships grow has been a true privilege.
None of us know what the future holds but we as a family know that our future holds the most important thing, and that is time together.
The new business owners are great people and will be able to take Allenton's local to the next level and make it everything the community deserve their local to be. We wish them all the very best. They know what they are doing and trust us, the place will be amazing once they have put their stamp on it and are ready to re open the doors to Allenton's local.
To finish we would like to send a very special thanks to our local regulars - our Leo's family. We have more pub mum's, dad's, aunty's and uncle's than we can name, but your support has meant the world to us and will never be forgotten. We will be putting something together in the near future to say thank you and will be in touch. We are sorry we haven't been able to wind up as planned, but we look forward to getting together soon to show our thanks.
