Greetings one and all,
I have met some of you and given you an invitation personally, but not all.
I spent 3 weeks painting "Mac Mathuna's Irish Bar", in Everest Irish Bar in Z-Street Thamel.
This coming Saturday 7th of March is the official "Unveiling" of the painting in Everest at 3pm in the afternoon. Would really like for any of you with the time to come along and enjoy what promises to be a good day. There will be finger food and and anyone who would like a drink, the bar will be open. Please do pass this mail on to friends and family living in Kathmandu.
This day is also a lead up to St.Patrick's Day (Tuesday March 17th), the Irish national holiday, when Irish Desmond and his band Ramshackle Blues will be playing live.
I could tell you more about the painting, but don't want to ruin the surprise.
If any of ye play any instruments, bring them along, there is a pool-table and tv for kids to amuse themselves.
It should be a great family day for Irish and others alike.
