AYAME Japanese Restaurant 日本料理 あやめ Ayame restaurant & cafe serves traditional Japanese food, Chinese food, home roasted coffee and quality home made waffles.

We are a Japanese food restaurant located in Lakeside, Pokhara, Nepal. We serve traditional fine Japanese food including Yakitori (Skewed chicken), home made Udon noodles, special Ramen noodles, well decorated Waffle desert, etc. We also roast Nepalese organic coffee by our self. We have very high quality fruits tea produced in Germany. Our female staff waring Japanese beautiful "Kimono" dress will serve fine food and drinks and entertain you.

What is AYAME?

"AYAME" is the Japanese name of blue flowers "IRIS".

Since the antient times, Japanese people really loved the flowers. They sometimes included in short poems, and visit field planting only that flowers.

As, of course, the Japanese owner likes the flower so much, we named our cafe "AYAME".

Please enjoy flowers on the garden as well as our home made waffle, lunch and coffee/tea.
