Port Tasting with Jorge from Taylor's Port
This Friday, January the 20th, we are very lucky to have Jorge from Taylor's Port coming to host a masterclass in Port wine. He will be showing the following wines:

Taylor's Vintgae 2018
Taylor's 10 Year Tawny
Taylor's 20 Year Tawny
Taylor's 50 Year Tawny

On Thursday 27th of October we are holding quite a special wine inspired dinner. Tina Lorlano from Allegrini estates will be our hostess and will present a line-up of 11 wines from all 3 properties owned by the family, Poggio al Tesoro, San Polo Montalcino and of course Allegrini. There will be a 5-course menu, sourced from the best people in the area. We approached Italo to make the pasta for us and Braai Sandnes for the most delicious 18 hour smoked brisket, truly mouth-watering stuff.
The wine line up is, as ever with these events, to quote Withnail '..the finest wines available to humanity...'

Jean Leon was one of the hospitality industries most colourful and charismatic characters. Hailing from humble beginnings in the North of Spain, he sought his fortune in America and opened one the most iconic restaurants of the time.
A close friend and confidant to all the top names of the day, Sinatra, Munroe, Dean... the list is truly epic. His restaurant survives to this day and on Friday the 3rd of June we are holding a 'Homage a La Scala' dinner, hosted by Anna Manchon who is flying in from the estate to present the wines (once voted one the 8 best in the world) and regale us with his incredible story.
Richard Bowers will also be our entertainer for the evening and anyone who wants to dress the part, is most welcome, we will be awarding a prize to the most appropriately attired.

On Tuesday the 3rd of May we are being joined by Julia, from Balthasar Ress. She will be conducting a tasting and hosting dinner.

We do hope you can join us, she is bringing some exciting bottles, from the estates extensive library, no longer available to anyone and will be showing their 'Caviar' at dinner. 🍴🍷
