Jarmann Gastropub holder til i nye, moderne lokaler på Aker Brygge med fantastisk utsikt til Oslofjorden. Hos oss får du deilig gastromat til lunsj og middag, selvsagt akkompagnert med godt drikke og hyggelig service. I 1855 startet nemlig våpenkonstruktøren Jacob Smith Jarmann og Ingeniør Prosper Nørbech et mekanisk verksted i Kristiania. Allerede to år etter ble dette til Nylands mekaniske verks

ted, som senere slo seg sammen med velkjente Aker mekaniske verksted. Og i lokalene der alt startet i 1855, fører nå Jarmann Gastropub det historiske navnet videre.

Originally from a Greek island, where fresh seafood and quality ingredients are part of everyday life, he’s spent over a decade in Norway, gaining experience from several well-known kitchens in Oslo.

He is a hands-on chef, working side by side with the team every day. And at Jarmann, it’s all about the team 🤎�
Focused, diverse and dedicated people that works closely together, always with a good vibe and plenty of laughter along the way.

And our menu reflects that great food is all about working together, around seasonal ingredients, local producers, and Norwegian cuisine.

For centuries, salmon has been part of everyday life in Norway. With cold, clean waters and deep fjords all along the coast, salmon became one of the country’s most important ingredients 🇳🇴🐟

One of the most classic ways Norwegians prepare it is gravlax, a method of curing salmon with salt, sugar and herbs that dates back hundreds of years. What started as a way to preserve fish eventually became one of the most iconic flavors of Scandinavian cuisine.

At Jarmann, we keep that tradition alive with our GRAVLAX & POACHED EGG: house-cured salmon served on sourdough, topped with a perfectly poached egg and creamy hollandaise 🤤
