Release alert!

We're releasing three new german style beers next week on Thursday the 12th of March - a kellerbier, a munich dunkel (bayer to scandinavians) and an altbier.
We'll also be serving some german-inspired snacks for the occasion.

We're very honored to have the privilege of being the only official norwegian venue for Cantillon's Zwanze Day 2026 on Saturday, April 25th!
We'll be taking bookings for half our tables and leaving the other half for walk-ins. Send us an email at [email protected] for reservations.

The end of the year is closing in on us, and with it comes some of the few days a year that we're actually closed. Thank you to everyone who has visited us so far this year, and if you haven't gotten around to it yet, you still have a few days left to drop by 😉

Christmas is not too far away, which means Christmas beer!
We're launching three seasonal beers and serving free pinnekjøtt (while supplies last) on Thursday the 6th of November.

We're celebrating 15 years of Schouskjelleren Mikrobryggeri next week!

Tuesday the 7th: cask ale!
We're doing another round of our Oslo Best Bitter on cask! We ran out after a few hours last time, so show up early!

Wednesday the 8th: birthday bottleshare!
We're opening some fun bottles and serving them by the glass. Mostly sours and stouts, but also our magnum bottle of Norwalien Happiness (2022) mead from Marlobobo.

Thursday the 9th: new Schouskjelleren sour blend!
Our head brewer, Joao, has made a new sour blend using an old sour we've been hiding away for special occasions. Limited supply!

Friday the 10th: Pastry stouts and brownies!
Our head brewer, Joao, and bar manager, Kristian, brewed a small batch of imperial pastry stout, split the batch in two and added vanilla to one half and cocoa nibs to the other. The result is two amazing pastry stouts. Come on by to try them out!
We'll also be serving pecan brownies from Baker Brun free of charge.

We're turning 15 and we're going to celebrate from the 7th of october to the 11th! Save the date(s) for some great releases and events. There's even gonna be cake (we promise that the cake is not a lie). Details for each day's events will be released soon. Come on by!

On Thursday the 11th of September from 17:00 we're doing an event with a great producer from France - Brasserie Levain!

We'll have a few of their products available and there'll be the option of ordering a cheese platter to pair with their amazing refreshments.

July was a blast, with amazing weather, a great time in the biergarten and great guests. We even got an entirely new set of furniture installed, which also improved the acoustics quite a bit!
We're back to our normal opening hours for August - come on by to check out the new interior!

We are currently well under way with refurbishing our cellar! So we figured why not use our cozy little beer garden more actively in the meantime!

The weatherpeeps are telling us it’s going to be a cool 29°C tomorrow, so we decided to put up an outside bar and invite our good friends from for a little TTO in the sun from 2pm, expect fresh and delicious brews! We’ll have some simple food and snacks from available! So whether you’re spending your holiday in Oslo or are looking for a place for a little afterwork, our beer garden is waiting for you! 🤝☀️

We've got some stuff coming up in May!

The guys from The Kernel Brewery in London are coming by on the 20th of May, and we're doing a small Tap Takeover of four beers for the occasion. The guys will be here after they're done with the beermakers dinner at Nedre Foss Gård. Come by to meet the people behind this iconic Lpndon microbrewery

We're open for the 17th of May! We're opening at 13:00 for the occasion. Drop-in only. We're also going to have something to nibble on for the occasion.

Were launching a new beer - Solstikk! A simple kettle sour recipe with plenty of blackcurrants. Releasing tomorrow (15.05.)

Our biergarten is up for the season and is going to be open when the weather permits it. Just order whatever you'd like in the bar downstairs and enjoy it either downstairs or in the biergarten.
