Kasteel Brouwerij Vanhonsebrouck began as a family passion in 1900 with Brouwerij Sint Jozef in Ingelmunster, Belgium. Inspired by their historic castle in 1986, they brewed their first quadrupel — a bold, sweet innovation that redefined tradition.

Today, Kasteel stands for generations of craftsmanship, from Brigand to fruit-infused Rouge and beyond — a Belgian legacy now rare in Oslo.

Here at Amundsen, we’ve watched Norwegians turn Constitution Day into a parade of flags, tiny sailors with comically serious faces, and us, plating mini pavlovas in flag colors 🌞 — meringues so crisp they’d survive a fjord hike, dotted with strawberries and blueberries that ooze just enough patriotism. Rådhus stands by like a sturdy old friend, pretending not to notice. 👀

Our tables vanish quicker than last winter’s snowdrifts. We’d hate for you to miss it — grab one while they last.
