Get to know us!

This is Renate, she is our Head Bartender, Startender and Marketing Manager at Elven (so yes, its me posting all these posts, Hallao!)

She randomly came over European Bartending School in 2022, thinking it was a fun little thing while figuring out what she wanted to do with her life, and quickly fell in love with the industry. Some experiences from Barcelona and Trondheim, before really kicking it off in Bergen last year with her bubbly personality and curiosity, keeping the two boys in the bar in check. Renate loves organising, getting to know people, laughter and dad jokes

Rejected by the military because of her peanut allergy, so she now compensates by doing push-ups whenever she’s been drinking

We are of course celebrating, and this season we are proud to support FRI - Foreningen for kjønns- og seksualitetsmangfold. We will be donating 10kr for every Ruby Rainbow sold this month to FRI, helping create a more inclusive and equal society for everyone, and support their important work for LGBTQ+ rights in Norway. Get to know us!

This is Connor, he is our Bar Manager, handy(everything)man and co-owner at Elven

14 years of late nights and carrying glasses, he has bounced around most bars in Bergen. Along the way he has gathered plenty of stories, experiences and helped open bars across Norway with Nicho. A handyman through and through with a lot of energy! Connor loves to exceed guest’s expectations, make everyone giggle and take care of the people around him

Usually you see him wearing flip flops outside of work, even barefoot he is technically also wearing them! A tattoo that goes across his toes «flip flop», true love

Get to know us!

This is Nicho, he is our General Manager and co-owner at Elven

With 11 years in the industry, he knows a thing or two. He started out as a floor boy collecting dishes, and worked his way up with his charming smile, humour and a lot of heart along the way. At first he might seem a little shy, but that usually doesn’t last long. Nicho loves a busy bar, good energy and a funny story

Before every Brann Football Match, his lucky Adidas t-shirt has to be on. No exceptions.
