Bergen Kunsthall will be open throughout the summer with an active program throughout the building in the coming weeks.
Our current exhibitions can both be experienced during regular opening hours. Until September 6, you can experience the Festival Exhibition 2026: "From This Darkness I Shall Grow" by Anawana Haloba (https://www.kunsthall.no/en/exhibitions/anawana-haloba-the-festival-exhibition-2026/) together with the parallel exhibition "and yet what remains of former times" by Hanni Kamaly in Gallery V (https://www.kunsthall.no/en/exhibitions/hanni-kamaly/). Every Sunday, we invite you to a tour and workshop for families with children at 13:00, followed by a guided tour for everyone at 14:00 👉 https://www.kunsthall.no/en/events/3320-2026-07-05/?d=2026-07-12
TSNUK—Klubben is hosting SOMMERHENG in weeks 28 and 29👉 https://www.kunsthall.no/en/events/3343-2026-07-08/. In our Live Studio, several artists are working diligently on new productions (https://www.kunsthall.no/en/live-studio/karina-sletten/), and the bookstore is full of hand-picked books that you won’t find anywhere else. Landmark is, as always, a place for good meals, meetings and nice summer evenings with concerts, clubs and even a little football!
We wish all our partners, friends and visitors a good summer. Thank you all for an inspiring and eventful six months during the spring. It has been a period with lots of activity, new ventures and the establishment of several small and large collaborations with partners and supporters, both in Bergen and in various parts of the world. We can already reveal that the autumn offers a programme packed with new impressions – stay tuned!
Warm regards,
Kjersti Solbakken
