Fun with LEGO! Real domestic innovation at the Finch :D

The boys from the Finch decided to expand their family with an animal. After discussing and squabbling we went for the lovebird. Not long after that they found a place to get one, wich lead that on the 8th of September the Finch was one member richer! In the beginning Joppie (the name we adopted from it's previous owner) was kind of a pain in the ass. It didn't become tame, so we decided to shorten his wings. With success! Joppie became much friendlier and friendlier, till he just wanted to get attention from you and sit on your head or any part of your upper body (yeah, 'whole body' sounded a bit lugubrious). Now you think, why this long boring story? Because Joppie is getting a new home! "And why the hell would you do that if the bird is so friendly?" Well, he also broke five shot glasses, two plates and our LED-light system. He chirps for hours long (mainly because we have loud music on all the time or watching films and series), so we thought it's better for us and the bird to get a quiet home and for us to have a quieter home. By and large, we're sad.. really sad to see Joppie go. To proof it, we added a photo of Yannick seeing clearly how devistated he is of this development. Melissa, take good care of him! :D
