Rooted in Balinese spirit, crafted for wild nights.🌿
Your sacred escape in the city.✨ Ulu Bar is a sacred escape in Utrecht, inspired by Balinese spirituality.

In Balinese tradition, Ulu means “the origin” and “the sacred head,” the place where the spirit aligns with the cosmos. We bring this philosophy to life through every detail, from jungle-kissed interiors and fusion tapas that tell stories of faraway lands, to cocktails infused with exotic flavours that whisper of incense, citrus, and moonlit rituals. Step inside and discover Indonesia in Utrecht, where every corner feels like an urban sanctuary. But Ulu Bar is more than what’s in your glass or on your plate. It’s a tapas bar that's magnetic and offers a soulful nightlife experience. Here, jungle beats and sacred sunset sessions flow into candlelit conversations and DJ nights in Utrecht. It’s a hidden gem for fusion with feeling, whether it’s a date night, a celebration, or just a soulful escape. At Ulu Bar, every visit becomes a memory nostalgic enough to keep coming back.

The menu isn’t here to play it safe.🔥
Because every mouthful deserves a little more attention. The kind you pass around the table, sneak one last taste of, and find yourself thinking about long after the plates are cleared.🍴

Good company helps. Great food makes it momentous!

Some people just know how to turn a random day into the best part of your week.
They order way too much for the table, laugh the loudest, and somehow convince everyone to stay for one more. 💛

If you've got friends like that, you already know where to bring them! 🥂

20/07/2026

The best evenings are never planned. 🎊
They unfold, one new face at a time and one spontaneous decision after another! Somewhere between the first hello and the last goodbye, ordinary plans become the stories you keep talking about.

Find your people. We’ll take care of the atmosphere at ULU. 🙌

Sometimes the best part of the plan is forgetting the plan!
An extra order for the table. A refill that feels right. One more bite, one more toast, one more reason to stay.
Turns out, the best moments are the ones you don’t count. ✨
