KyoYoko is a four-piece band from Beijing that refuses to fit neatly into a box. Their experimental blend of post-punk, industrial, electronica and a touch of free jazz is as distinctive as it is unpredictable. Since forming in 2020, the band has become a staple of China’s independent music scene, and has since taken their sound to stages in Seoul, Tokyo and Vladivostok, among others. Known for their unpredictable live shows, KyoYoko combine their music with live-mixed and distorted video footage, turning every performance into an immersive audiovisual trip. Her music feels like an epic story of ancient Greece, complete with sirens, myths and mysticism. Her music is experimental, with IDM beats and trip-hop influences. Modern day electronica meets mythology.. 🧚

On Wednesday we are closed for a private event from 17:30, so sadly no student night this week, but were back next week!

Thursday evening theres Roffaswing in the belly and Board Game night on the upper deck. So come by with your friends, and pick your challenge! (both free)

Sunday its our beloved Shantycafe, signing sailor songs in the belly. And after (from 7pm) our decks are yours. So bring your vinyl and some mates for a listening session. (both free)

On Saturday October 31st DnDykes take over the ship for a halloween party special!

Expect your usual DnDykes energy with a Halloween twist – DJs, Drag, make-up stations, goodies and & of course music you cant sit still to!

Come dressed as zombie, a q***r icon, a queen/king (in whatever gay-way you’d like to interpret), or anything in between. Costumes on theme are encouraged as we will have a costume contest during the evening as well as a messily orchestrated duel between the dead and the iconic. However, as always you’re welcome to just come as yourself – in whatever way that means.
