We're proud to welcome TALLULAH ROSE .lula to Stadsbrouwerij De Pelgrim on the 4th of July, as part of the local Jazzhaven music festival 🎶 There will be 2 half-hour performances at 19:45 and 21:30, and it would be amazing to see you there!

Free entrance, locally brewed beers, and with any luck... lots of sun ☀

We have more summer cocktails to show! Here at De Pelgrim we obviously do beers, but we also do spritzes... and this time of year calls for one or all of them: Aperol, Limoncello or Orancello 🍸

Can you legally name it an orchestra if it only has 4 horns? Probably not! Either way… THE FRAN RODRÍGUEZ JAZZ ORCHESTRA, features ANNE-ROOS, singing a celebration for the Great American Songbook and the Joy of Jazz. Swing is for dancing and romancing! Capping off this season with a bang, lots of familiar favourites reunite under the direction of pianist Fran Rodríguez for an epic conclusion, and if you don't witness it you'll wish you had 💥

The VSR (Vishal Singh Rebari) Quintet likes to explore rhythmic and sonic possibilities through a mix of traditional and modern elements. Each member brings their own sound and feel to the music, taking the audience on a new and adventurous experience. It takes inspiration from artists like Linda May Han Oh, Ben Wendel, Antonio Sánchez, and Kneebody.

MODULAFRO will play our next Pelgrim Jam, on the upcoming Thursday (May 28th) 💥🥁🎷

ModulAfro is an international latin-jazz band born and based in Rotterdam. The project pays homage to the Afro-Cuban Jazz interpreting modern arrangements of the milestones of this music, for instance Michel Camilo’s arrangements of Mambo Inn or other groundbreaking compositions like Claudia, Bebo by Chucho Valdes, as well as original compositions. Generally the band embrances the sonorities of the Modern Afro-Cuban Jazz, Timba Jazz and Cuban Fusion taking inspiration by bands such as Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez’s Italuba Quartet. The sound of the band is characterized by the traditional Afro-Cuban rhythms mixed with jazz melodies and harmonies enriched by unexpected moments of interaction between the members of the band.

And just like that, we're back with another round of jams just before the summer - starting off with the RAFAEL SLORS QUARTET 🥁🥁

The music of Rafael Slors' Quartet consists primarily of Rafael’s original compositions, inspired by artists such as Brian Blade, Brad Mehldau, John Scofield, and The Beatles. Expect rich melodies and a warm and atmospheric sound. Each piece is carefully written to resonate, both with the listener and within the band itself.
