De wereld om me heen kookt over.
De wereld raakt me gelukkig iedere dag.
Ik hou van de wereld en draag graag mijn steentje bij.
Maar aan een overkokende wereld brand ik liever mijn handen niet.
Daarom is een eenvoudig leven nu voor mij nochtans van levensbelang.
Eenvoudig zonder gedoe.
Zonder randzaken die de aandacht trekken, maar waar ik uiteindelijk toch niks aan kan doen.
Daarom gaan er voor bepaalde kanalen de stekker eruit. Omdat die kanalen onderdeel zijn van de opwarming, medeplichtig aan het gedoe.
Facebook gaat op zwart.
Instagram aan de wilgen.
Koffie & Ambacht gaat door en blijft bereikbaar via de ouderwetse kanalen: de telefoon, via mail of tijdens openingstijden.
Eenvoudig leven is het credo.
Eenvoudig betekenisvol leven; bevrijd van flauwekul.

I AM GETTING RID OF FACEBOOK.
The world around me is boiling over.
Fortunately, the world touches me every day.
I love the world and am happy to do my bit.
But I would rather not burn my hands on an overheated world.
That is why a simple life is now of vital importance to me.
Simple without hassle.
Without distractions that draw attention, but which I ultimately can't do anything about.
That's why I'm pulling the plug on certain channels. Because those channels are part of the warming, complicit in the hassle.
Facebook is going dark.
Instagram is history.
Koffie & Ambacht will continue and remain accessible via the old-fashioned channels: telephone, email, or during opening hours.
Simple living is the credo.
Simple, meaningful living; free from nonsense.

A trombone prepared solo project by Carlo Mascolo, an improvised musician who draws on previous experiences such as jazz, world music, computer music and improvised music, in search of new timbric-sound effects. Sound spatialization is a fundamental aspect of performance: “hand made “, it is diffused through three distinct “ways” of sound timbres. In improvisation performances, Carlo combines the legacy of the past with the new sounds of synthesized modernity, through unconventional techniques and modified inputs, so as to construct acoustic fabrics that seem to be generated by a synthesizer or an oscillator, so new life to its plastic and brass pipes.

singing technique in which the singer consciously produces two or more tones simultaneously: a low fundamental tone and one or more higher, flute-like overtones, using the mouth and throat cavity as a resonator to amplify specific frequencies, resulting in a unique, ‘magical’ sound that is traditionally found in cultures such as Mongolia and Siberia, but is also used in the West for healing and spiritual purposes.
