The front of house: Jelle

If you’ve visited Héroine recently, chances are you’ve already met him. Jelle is our assistant manager.

He started as a runner, but it didn’t take long before he became one of the familiar faces leading our front of house alongside Liza, our Maître. Whether he’s organising our wine cellar, answering your call, or helping you find the perfect bottle when our sommelier is off, Jelle is always happy to help.

Off the clock? You’ll probably find him discovering new restaurants, enjoying a glass of Chablis, or cheering for Ajax. Which is quite brave... considering he’s from Rotterdam ;)

Fun fact: before hospitality stole his heart, Jelle worked as a paralegal at a law firm. Safe to say, we think he made the right career move.

Next time you’re here, make sure to say hi! Just don’t mention Feyenoord... or do.
