BAR was a forward thinking nightclub in downtown Rotterdam with a progressive approach to electronic music. This was our second BAR, in the Schieblock, a multipurpose building for the creative economy, at only 200 meters from Central Station.
BAR hosted national and international artists such as: Acid Arab, Red Axes, Baris K, Objekt, Call Super, Shanti Celeste, Silent Servant, Palms Trax, John Talabot, The Hacker, DJ Tennis, Steffi, Tim Sweeney, Solar, Andrew Weatherall, Joy Orbison, Barnt, the Egyptian Lover, Moscoman, Job Jobse, Clara 3000, Dj Sotofett, I-F, Hunee, Antal, Optimo, Helena Hauff, Lena Willikens, Young Marco, Legowelt, Dopplereffekt and has collaborated through the years with organizations like Clone, Rush Hour, Giegling, Nachtdigital, Salon zur Wilden Renate, PIP, Dekmantel, Red Light Radio, Bo****lo A Parigi, Disco Halal and Coméme.
Next to collaborations BAR also hosted parties at festivals like Dekmantel Selectors (HR), Salon zur Wilden Renate (DE) and Modular Festival (NL).
BAR closed down on the 30th of June 2019.
