We are happy to host .station
November 25th
SAYYAD message to you:
Our second edition is being held at a time of immense suffering, but we have chosen to proceed with our event. We believe that a club space is about people, and people are inherently political; thus we decided to take a stand as a cultural institution. On the 25th of this month, we aim to create a space for people to cherish their blessings while also reflecting on and acknowledging the suffering happening in Gaza and around the world.
The little Palestinian vandal in the poster is known as Handala, created by Naji Al Ali. When Handala turned 10 years old, he made the decision to turn his back on the world because he felt that the world had done the same to him. He was named after a Palestinian fruit renowned for its bitterness, and he believes that his life as a Palestinian child embodies the name’s flavor. His rejection of the world symbolizes his people’s self-determination and their defiance of the narratives imposed by the world on their struggle for liberation.
This is a non-profit event, and all profits will be matched by us and directly donated to the Palestine Red Crescent. We also have the fundraiser of the Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) open on our instagram page.
Our comrade .syd will be responsible for the warm-up proceedings, leading the way before of NHS step in for a long-awaited collaboration. Finally, our guest from abroad, a resident of Robert Johnson and a captain of HardWorkSoftDrink, , will guide us through the night until fatigue sets in and the sun graces the sky.
