De Bebop is altijd ouderwets gezellig gebleven door de jaren heen, maar gaat zo af en toe ook toch een keer met z’n tijd mee! De Bebop is nu ook voorzien van een geheel vernieuwd terras achterin de tuin, dat zelfs

‘loungie’ is te noemen, met warmtelampen en overkappingen zodat het ook in de winter goed vertoeven is in de tuin. De bebop staat bekend om de LIVE JAZZ op zondagmiddag en de JAMM-sessies van dinsdag avond, maar ook zeker vanwege het zeer grote assortiment aan bieren.

The Panos Gourdoupis Quartet is a dynamic Modern Jazz ensemble distinguished by its blend of sophisticated harmonic depth and compelling rhythmic interplay. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Wayne Shorter, Kurt Rosenwinkel, and Lage Lund, the Quartet develops original compositions that emphasize strong, memorable melodies and unfold into intricate musical narratives. Their live performances feature raw, collaborative energy and deep improvisation, turning each set into an evolving story. The group is led by guitarist and composer Panos Gourdoupis, following his well-received 2025 release “Any Time Now” , supported by the Amarte Music Fonds. The Quartet is currently preparing to record its debut project in 2026, with a focus on further developing and presenting this musical vision on stage.

🔻 May 26th 🔻 | Birra Moretti session hosted by Daniel Keller | Starting at 8.30PM | FREE ENTRANCE!

NL | Daniel Keller groeide op als zoon van de altsaxofonist Wolfgang Keller, en zodoende stond een toekomst met dit instrument toen al vast. Hij heeft op verschillende jazzpodia en festivals in het binnen en buitenland gespeeld met de bigbands van de Italiaanse maestro Peter Guidi. Op 11 jarige leeftijd is hij begonnen aan het conservatorium van Amsterdam en heeft daar les gehad van onder andere Simon Rigter en Joris Roelofs. Tegenwoordig kan hij onder andere bewonderd worden in de Jazz Focus Big Band, sorrindo en verscheidene kleinere bezettingen met muzikanten uit de omgeving van Den Haag.

🔻 May 19th 🔻 | Birra Moretti session hosted by Keller-Lammen Quintet | Starting at 8.30PM | FREE ENTRANCE!

EN | The Keller-Lammen Quintet was grounded two years ago and plays a combination of own compositions and pieces from the old jazz tradition of the fifties. Names as Gerry Mulligan with Chet Baker or Lee Morgan and Frank Rosolino were a great source of inspiration to these young musicians under the guidance of Ole Keller on the trumpet and Thomas Lammen on te trombone. This exceptional horn section is accompanied by a rhythm section consisting of guitar, bass and drums. This rhythm section lays a nice swinging foundation which underlines the beautiful themes and solos.

The first gigs on dutch ground have taken place in locations like Felix Meritis or the Mahogany Hall and we have already received some pretty enthusiastic reviews.
Some time ago we recorded our first CD called “Foggy” and now we are busy with our second CD where we want to focus more on our own compositions. The whole quintet contributes to this main focus.
It will be our tribute to melodic and swinging Jazzmusic !

🔻 TONIGHT 🔻 | Birra Moretti session hosted by Justine Westers | Starting at 8.30PM | FREE ENTRANCE!

Justine is a jazz vocalist based in Delft. She studied at the Prins Claus Conservatoire in Groningen and is currently pursuing a degree in jazz vocals at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. With Ella Fitzgerald as her main inspiration and a passion for bebop and swing, Justine brings her love for the jazz tradition to life. Her band is a group of friends who met while studying at the conservatoire. Drawing from traditional jazz, modern interpretations, and original arrangements, she brings a personal and distinctive sound to the stage.

THIS SUNDAY | PAul FrAnk | pAulfrAnk is altijd op zoek naar originele, volkse, intieme of juist opzwepende liedjes. Ook dit keer komen ze in de Bebop UNPLUGGED een heerlijke middag met fijne muziek verzorgen.

Je kunt hun muziek onder de noemer Singer Songwriter, Americana, Modern Folk of Slowcoustic plaatsen, maar waar het om gaat is dat je geraakt wordt door het samenspel van zang, gitaar, viool, contrabas en toetsen. Nieuwe en onbekende ‘parels’ zullen ook dit keer weer aan bod komen. PAulfrAnk speelt o.a. nummers van Calexico, Glen Hansard, Novastar, Ben Caplan, Damien Rice en zoals eerder gezegd veel nieuw repertoire! Kom lekker luisteren en genieten van een drankje!
