Still looking for a recipe to warm you up during these cold winter days? This cocktail is sure to do that.
Created for the signature menu at this cocktail tastes like a fresh slice of apple pie in a glass.

Granny’s Apple Pie 🥧

40 ml Jack Daniels Fire
20 ml Apple Brandewijn ( )
10 ml eyguebelle cinnamon syrup
25 ml fresh lemon juice
4 cloves
1 egg white

Double shake and strain into a chilled martini glass. Serve with cinnamon over the top, slices of apple and whipped cream on the side 🥰

So in love with this new creation. What’s more Christmassy than Terry’s chocolate orange? Well this cocktail tastes just like it 😍 Perfect for after Christmas dinner or any other time really.
The chocolate rim adds a perfect amount of chocolate to every sip.

‘Mallory’s Chocolate Orange’

40 ml spiced
20 ml
30 orange juice
20 chocolate syrup
5 ml maple syrup
2 dashes Aztec chocolate

Garnish with a grated chocolate rim and orange zest expressed over the glass.

Received the bottles of from yesterday for Omearas that I won through ‘s competition.
So grateful having been able to compete in this and support Omearas. There will be an event with special cocktails once the measures against corona are lessened a little bit. Still, feel free to pop by for a cold pint, glass of wine or gin and tonic 🙃
Also; it’s been a while so new cocktail post coming this weekend ☺️

I had this little taster of so wanted to try one of their signature cocktails, 'the Drunken Elephant'.
I just added a little grapefruit liqueur to it.
Marula gin is made from elephant fruit, making it a really unique gin with a delicious, sweet and refreshing flavour. This might actually be one of my favourite gins yet 😍

'the Drunken Elephant' 🐘
30 ml
20 ml grapefruit liqueur
80 ml grapefruit juice
15 ml lemon juice
10 ml sugar syrup
5 basil leaves
Shake and fine strain
Top off with 40 ml of soda

A fruity gin and tonic with blueberry liqueur to enjoy in the sun 😍
50 ml
20 ml blueberry liqueur
Fill with tonic
Garnish with strawberry slices and a few basil leaves.

A little twist on a classic cocktail for Easter, a chocolate espresso Martini. Still had this little bottle of chocolate liqueur from at home. Great to enjoy after dinner as a little treat for yourself.
40 ml vodka
20 ml chocolate liqeuer.
30 ml of fresh espresso (trust me, better flavours)
10 ml of simple syrup.
Shake until everything is cold and fine strain.

Gentleman's lemonade.
I'm personally not a big fan of whiskey; when worked into a cocktail it can be delicious though.
This is a very refreshing and light cocktail to drink on a sunny day 😍
40 ml gentleman Jack
20 ml triple sec
20 ml fresh lemon juice
10 ml sugar syrup
Top with sprite/lemonade.
Garnish with a lemon spiral.

A Berry Summer Crush

Yesterday I went shopping for one liqueur and came back with four bottles 😅
One of those was a blueberry liqueur which inspired today's cocktail.
It's a very summery cocktail to brighten up today, the weather is quite grim here...
It requires crushed ice, if you don't have any now is a perfect chance to take your frustration out on some ice cubes and make some yourself 😅
Cut up 3 strawberries and muddle them with half a barspoon of sugar.
40 ml London dry gin
20 ml Blueberry Liqueur
10 ml fresh lemon juice
Fill with crushed ice and top with tonic, stir everything well and finish with garnishing or just enjoy as it is ☺️

While in Mexico of course I looked for a tequila I wouldn't be able to get back in Holland and came across this El 701 Blanco 100% Agave tequila. I love it for cocktails as it's very smooth.
Muddle 3/4 pieces of mango and pineapple very well
40 ml tequila blanco
20 ml triple sec
30 ml fresh lime juice
10 ml sugar syrup
Shake really well and fine strain
Garnish with a salt rim to your liking, I prefer half ☺️

Easy cocktails at home #4
suggested today's cocktail should have rum. I had the reserva ocho at home and figured I should try something with that. As it has hints of apricot I wanted to go to the summer punch side, looked in my cupboard at what I had and improvised.
I love the colours of this, the taste is sweet but still with a kick from the spices from the bacardi. The peachtree and triple sec add nice fruity flavours. Definitely a keeper for the summer
Summer Sunrise
50 ml reserva ocho
20 ml peach tree
20 ml triple sec
15 ml lime juice
100 ml mango orange juice
-- stir and strain into an ice filled glass --
(sink) 40 ml cranberry juice
Garnish with lime or fruits as desired.
