Our Story
Libertine Café Café is closed and a new restaurant has opened on the same location. Le Bleu Citron is a cosmopolitan wine bar and restaurant with a Mediterranean flair. Amongst historic canals, hip boutiques and plenty of stylish passerby’s you’ll find this hotspot in the 9 streets neighbourhood in the centre of Amsterdam. From brunch to lunch to dinner and every little moment in between, Le Bleu Citron is the perfect place to wind down. Head over for a quick coffee and a bite, relax and enjoy mouth-watering dishes to share and sip on delicious natural wines and cocktails. Opened in February 2020 by three friends, interior designer Casper Reinders, Sommelier Simo Zbiri and Travel Expert Fred van Eijk, this restaurant and wine bar brings the Mediterranean’s finest flavours to your table. Everything is handpicked for you to enjoy, from the wines to the urban interior, and to top it off you’ll be welcomed by a team who will offer a personal and welcoming experience.
