Here is some additional information about our podcast this evening:

Everyone who was invited by our moderator, by us personally and everyone who has sent an email to our community email will have probably received a confirmation about the possibility to attend our live Podcast tonight. If not, we are still reaching out and/or replying to all the rest. Due to COVID-19 regulations, there is limited capacity (42 seats) to attend our event and our moderator is in control of prioritising the people attending. For everyone who is not able to attend this event, there will be more podcast events in the future where we can welcome more people.

The Taking Responsibility Event will open its doors at 18:15 (Entrance through our Café). All of the confirmed attendees will be welcomed by our Door Host of the evening between 18:15 and 18:45. After 18:45 it’s not possible anymore to attend the event. Upon arrival, our Door Host will ask all attendees to fill in a form concerning COVID-19 regulations as well as a quitclaim regarding the recording of audio and video. However, we will request the attendees not to film or take pictures themselves during the event.

The Podcast will take place in Het Muzieklokaal and will start at 19:00 until 21:00. During the podcast, time will be created for Q&A’s with the live audience and to address live comments online (via Instagram & Facebook). Afterwards, there’s time for drinks and talks in our Club Garden from 21:00 until 22:00.

For everyone who’s not able to attend: There will be a link posted on our De School website, Instagram and Facebook at 18:00 so you can stream the event live from your own home. We go live at 19:00.

We are looking forward to welcoming you into De School again tomorrow. To the rest, we send our love from afar and hope you will be attending by streaming online.

X3’s fundraiser will now take place on Monday 8th June at Radio Radio. X3 decided to move it due to our lack of action and accountability. We acknowledge and understand this, please donate if you are able to.

We stand against systematic racism, white supremacy and the oppression of the black community.

We are aware that as a club we benefit from black, POC & LGBT+ movements and advocate for the culture of music we have inherited as a result of this.

Today at 5pm there is a solidarity protest at Dam Square, we hope to see you there.

Tomorrow, Cafe DS opens again and will start with a new lunch menu at 12:00. Our terrace will be open everyday according to the usual schedule. No need to call ahead, reservations can be made with our host at the gate upon arrival. ☀️

De School will live to see another summer. We are happy to say that there will be at least another four seasons to enjoy in our building.💫

Restaurant DS and Cafe DS will be open again for dinner, lunch and drinks from 1st June. We have had to change the way we work due to Covid-19, so please read about that on our website. We look forward to welcoming you to our building and terrace again. ✨

Surprise! From today the second release on our label De Nieuw is available on Bandcamp. It contains two club versions Oceanic made of his Live At De School record, plus an upsammy and a Pariah remix. They were meant for our basement, but fit in at home too.
