We kick things off on Friday with rising talent Lysah and Parotia founder Ajuma. Expect a night tracks filled with funky synthesizers and global rhythms.

Saturday evening belongs to our live electronic gathering, D.E.L.S. Immerse yourself in an intimate session of improvisation and visual experiments. These artists will blur the lines between soundscapes and dance-floor aesthetics.

Resident Rob Manga returns for chapter two! Alongsidr Young Hand and David Lee, this night is a dedicated escape from the noise of daily life, a space where presence is power and the music is pure house.

We close the weekend with Ciranda Sundays, a loving party space built on care, respect, and freedom of expression. Show up as your full self for an afternoon basement session featuring Millos Kaiser and Mendel.

We’re bringing more heat to the dancefloor with a specialized link-up between two of our favourite selectors next week. It marks a meeting of minds and sounds as we welcome Ajuma and Lysah to the booth.

Ajuma joins us fresh off touring the European continent, bringing back her soulful vibes and energy right on time! She is joined by Lysah, who steps up with everything from cosmic disco to house.

Just before Kingsday madness we look back at an ADE session with underground royalty from United Identities. This crew always knows how to bring the perfect pressure cooker to our basement, so it only felt right to bring them back. In exactly one month they return with Lewski, fresh off a release on the UI label, MALLAURY and Rosati. Get ready for a night of heads-down sweatbox slammers on May 24th, as Utrecht meets Amsterdam.

Next week Volkshotel is turning all nine floors into a massive playground, and the basement is of course a piece to its puzzle. This year, Paradiso will be taking over Doka. They’re bringing Barren Sea, Send Me Flowers and The Sophs along for the ride!

For some first timers visiting Live Resort, the plan is simple: you walk in, you wander, and you follow the noise. From the basement to the roof, the building belongs to the artists for the evening. Make sure you’ve got your best shoes on and your ears open. It’s a top-to-bottom takeover you won’t want to miss.

On May 2nd we’re welcoming back the biggest sorcerer of sorcerers, Orpheu The Wizard. As a true warlock of the Amsterdam underground, Orpheu brews a mix of genres and bpms, effortlessly as ever.
For this residency night, he’ll be transforming our basement into his sanctum of auditory spells accompanied by Doka family member F. Font. His hypnotic grooves will provide the perfect grounding force against Orpheu’s unpredictable curveballs.
Prepare to be spellbound!

• 24.04 Lost Groove x Doka Studio w/ |
First up, we’re buzzing to welcome back the Lost Groove collective. They’re bringing in Bristol’s own A for Alpha, a DJ and label owner who lives for that 90s-inspired energy. Expect a vinyl-heavy masterclass moving through house, garage, and techno, while Lost Groove resident DJ pointless steps up to keep the basement pressure high. 🟠

For Kingsnight, we’re handing the keys over to Doka royalty Suze Ijó. She invites the incredible Sassy J, hailing from the Swiss capital of Bern. Sassy J brings a sound that is soulful and warm, informed by her deep love for the craft. Much like the one-off clothing pieces she sews by hand, her sets are a beautiful patchwork of textures and styles: always charming, colorful, and completely unique. 🧶

• 26.04 Unsilenced x Doka Studio w/ |
We wrap up the celebrations on Kingsday with the Unsilenced crew, who are leaning into the deeper, more hypnotic side of the spectrum. This one features a lineup wit Richard Akingbehin and Yamour. Together, they’ll creating a web of dubby techno, hypnotic house, and dreamy electro, proving exactly why they’re at the forefront of the contemporary scene. 🕸️

In Untitled, Alice presents a series of lightboxes where digital forms take on a physical presence.
Emitting a quiet glow, the works echo the atmosphere of a dancefloor where visibility is partial and constantly shifting.
As you enter the space, your own heat and breath cause moisture to condense on cold, alien forms, making the invisible visible. Suggesting a subtle exchange between the body and the object.
The lightboxes were specifically developed for ISO 1600, our basement’s former smokers’ area.

Join us for the opening in ISO, on Saturday April 18th from 22.00 - 23.59. (Entrance is free)
