Nes 33 has been a city oasis (a so-called nighthouse) since settlers built the dam in the Amstel: The birth of the legendary city: Amstelredam (currently known as Amsterdam), even long before the foundation of the United States of America, Nes 33 was the place to be. The first pooltable was a 7 feet Leonhart Pooltable. Soon tournaments started on Thursday and got fully booked, week after week, year after year. After six years the table was sent off for retirement, and replaced by a bigger and better pooltable. June 1998 the new table was driven in from Zeeland: An 8 foot Brunswick Gold Crown II, unusually high quality that you will hardly find in an Amsterdam bar.
