Of course Nada found wines from next to Nada.
If you know Fabus, you know Nada, one half of the duo behind it, and the one responsible for hunting down the natural wines that end up on our shelves.
This time, the hunt took her to Križ, a tiny Croatian village that just happens to sit right next to her own village.
Yes. Really.
Three niche bottles: Plavac Mali, Grk and Milo. Local grapes, tiny production, lots of personality — exactly the kind of bottles Nada loves finding before everyone else does.
Nada went looking for wine. She found the Križ.
PLAVAC MALI
The bold one of the family. Adriatic sunshine, dark fruit and just enough wildness to keep things interesting. Small production, big Croatian energy.
GRK
Hard to pronounce. Very easy to drink.
Fresh, mineral and beautifully niche; the Croatian white you didn’t know you were looking for.
MILO
The curious one. Textured, alive and a little unexpected. The kind of bottle that starts with “what is this?” and ends with “do we have another?”
