One of the electronic scene’s most crucial architects, SBTRKT returns for his first DJ set in Amsterdam in over 10 years, joined by Amsterdam’s own JAEL.

The masked British producer, songwriter and DJ helped shape the early 2010s UK electronic landscape through a steady stream of remixes and the release of his 2011 self titled debut album, SBTRKT. The record, featuring key collaborator Sampha, became a defining moment for a new wave of UK bass leaning electronic music, merging house, post dubstep and left field pop. SBTRKT’s productions and remixes for artists like Little Dragon and Drake quickly circulated across clubs and festivals worldwide, while his distinctive masked live performances established him as one of the era’s most recognisable electronic acts.

Alongside him is JAEL, Amsterdam based singer, songwriter and producer. As one half of the electronic soul duo GLXY and through collaborations across the city’s hip hop, R&B and electronic scenes, JAEL has built a reputation for sets that move fluidly between soulful vocals, club rhythms and forward leaning electronic sounds.

On 13 March, Kode9 finally lands at PARDON inside Parallel Amsterdam! Back in December 2023 our night with Kode9 never happened. Fire, shutdown, heartbreak. Unfinished business. Now we fix that!

Identified Patient steps up as local hero, bringing his signature twisted club pressure straight from Amsterdam soil. Mallaury returns to the PARDON booth after last year’s surprise b2b with EYCEE at Paradiso, which left the room in bits. And of course our own EYCEE holds it down once again for the PARDON fam.

Last Saturday, we voted 4 love with

DJ Love brought Budots to Amsterdam, while KOLLIN, LARASATI, EVER and Scar XL steered the night through trance mutations, dubstep pressure, hyperpop rushes and high-speed club edits.

Gun fingers in the air, basslines shaking the walls; fast, chaotic and deeply felt. Each set flipped the energy in its own way.

On Friday, March 13th, returns to Parallel with the lineup they’ve owed you for a while. Back in December 2024 their night with Kode9 never happened, fire, shutdown, heartbreak. Now they fix that. We finally welcome Kode9, founder of Hyperdub and one of the most influential figures in bass music, whose reach runs from dubstep to grime and beyond. Amsterdam’s own Identified Patient steps up with his signature twisted club pressure, Mallaury returns to the booth after last year’s surprise b2b with EYCEE at Paradiso, and EYCEE holds it down once again for the PARDON family.

Alice Gas (Denton, TX) blends happy hardcore, hyperpop, and hardstyle into playful, high-energy tracks, while 99Jakes (Santa Fe, NM), co-founder of 909 Worldwide, delivers her signature supersaw-driven SAWKICKBASS sound, combining gabber, hardcore, breakbeat, trance, and pop, with remixes for 100 gecs, Machine Girl, and umru. Vote 4 Love this Valentine’s Day with the return of Eastern Margins in Parallel. For this edition they invited Filipino budots pioneer for his Amsterdam debut.

If you weren’t familiar with DJ Love or budots yet, swipe through to get to know. Forged in the slums of Davao City in the Philippines, budots was long sneered at for its unsubtle, maximalist sound and associations with gang culture. Recent virality has reframed its image, and it’s now set to take over dancefloors globally.
