We offer affordable Eco accommodation integrated into the nature. We run free daily workshops and yoga for overnight guests. You can book a private tree house, private room, dorm bed, or a jungle view hammock. We have a restaurant that serves tasty family style meals plus a bar with cold drinks & snacks. Bookings can be made through hostelworld.com
There is a 150 meter climb to reach our secret spot. We have lighting but just in case bring some suitable footwear & if arriving at night use the flashlight on your phone. (if you are not fit for uphill hiking we suggest staying in Granada). If you have any questions, send us a message :-)

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we communicate the loss of our dearest Chicken. We’ve taken some days to collect ourselves, thoughts & words, but we feel it only fitting to update everyone and also take the opportunity to share some things about Chicky, and of course, some of the many iconic photos and videos we’ve collected over the years. So here we go…

Chicky came to Treehouse roughly 16 years ago as a kitten with her sister Cebolla, known as the rogue sister that would make strange noises, and Cebolla the friendly, affectionate one. When the previous owner Jon arrived, the two cats were fully grown, and some time after, Cebolla disapeared into the jungle whilst the business was closed for wet season. Chicky remained, with a new found respect for her ability to hunt to survive, and her attachment to Treehouse. She then remained the sole cat at Treehouse (with some brief intruders) for the rest of her life.

For those of you who had the pleasure to meet her, she was the most weird and wonderful girl. Feral with family. What a unique life she lived through the different phases of ownership, and it’s no wonder she herself was the most unique cat, how else could you be when you were living half wild, in what was a very loose party hostel for many years.

When we arrived to Treehouse in 2017 as volunteers, she was this slightly unhinged cat that hunted for food in the jungle, and off the plates of guests. Would sit at the bar in the middle of a party sleeping, people doing shots of tequila around her. She loved a passed out man’s lap, and continued to over the years.

Para el puesto de Gerente de Bar, los días de trabajo son jueves, viernes y sábado. Para el puesto de Chef/Cocinero/a, los días de trabajo son miércoles, jueves, viernes, sábado y domingo.

Fecha de inicio: última semana de octubre.
