Part 3. Basic Idoma Sentence Structure
Idoma follows: Subject + Verb + Object/Complement
Just like English.

Number 3. "I want to..." - Future/Desire
Formula: `Pronoun + dɔ̄kō + action`
- `ɳ dɔ̄kō j'ɔ́kpá` = I want to read
- `ɳ dɔ̄kō h'ìjā` = I want to play
- `ɳ dɔ̄kō n'ùnù` = I want to fight

`dɔ̄kō` = "want to"

3. Common Pronouns in Idoma**
From our previous list:
- ɳ = I / Me
- ó = He / She
- àlɔ̀ = We
- é / ùwá = They

4. Common Actions/Verbs**
- j'ɔ́kpá = read
- t'ɔ́kpá = write
- h'ìjā = play
- t'únē = swing
- gb'ɔ̄kɔ̀ = pray
- y'úùyà = make noise
- n'ùnù = fight
- gw'ābɔ̄ = clap

5. Make 5 New Simple Sentences Yourself
Using the pattern, try these:
1. I am playing = `ɳ yɔ̄ h'ìjā`
2. We are praying = `àlɔ̀ yɔ̄ī gb'ɔ̄kɔ̀`
3. They want to write = `é dɔ̄kō t'ɔ́kpá`
4. He is clapping = `ó yɔ̄ī gw'ābɔ̄`
5. We are fighting = `àlɔ̀ yɔ̄ī n'ùnù`

Quick Tips:
1. Contractions are normal: `j'ɔ́kpá` = `jé ɔ́kpá` = "read book"
2. Tones matter: `yɔ̄ī` vs `yɔ̄` changes meaning slightly. Keep practicing with tones.
3. Start with 3 words: Pronoun + Verb + Thing. Don't overthink.

2. The 3 Main Patterns You Have

Number 1. "I am doing..." - Present Continuous**
Formula: `Pronoun + yɔ̄ī + action`
- `ɳ yɔ̄ī j'ɔ́kpá` = I am reading
- `ó yɔ̄ī t'ɔ́kpá` = He/She is writing
- `àlɔ̀ yɔ̄ī gb'ɔ̄kɔ̀` = We are praying

`yɔ̄ī` = "is/am/are doing"

Number 2. "We/They are doing..." - Alternative form**
Formula: `Pronoun + báā ī + action`
- `àlɔ̀ báā ī j'ɔ́kpá` = We are reading
- `é báā ī t'únē` = They are swinging
- `ùwá báā ī gw'ābɔ̄` = They are clapping

`báā ī` = "are doing" - used more for "we/they"
