WORKSHOP AND INSTRUCTORS
The workshop will be 5 days intensive dance and fitness training, featuring JAZZ, CONTEMPORARY, HORTON TECHNIQUE and of course CHOREOART. From New York’s renowned dance School Alvin Ailey, CLARA BELENUS specialist in STREET JAZZ, HORTON TECHNIQUE and CONTEMPORARY will be providing trainings in these techniques. PETER JAMES is a martial art and fitness Icon, trained in MODEN JAZZ, CONTEMPORARY, with other important experiences in France as a teacher and dancer in 2014/2015 and participations in major productions like: MTV commercial- GUINNESS MADE OF BLACK, X-FACTOR (west Africa), LOVE LIKE A MOVIE, SARO THE MUSICAL etc.
BENEFIT FOR PARTICIPANTS
Participants will have an opportunity to learn first hand from the inventor of choreoart.
Non-professional dancers are most welcome, as it will help achieve their fitness goals and learn new ways of exercising the body and mind.
Creative persons in any form of art as well as professional dancers stand an opportunity to be employed for IGNITE’S FIRST BIG CREATION.
It is excellent for fitness instructors who seek for new ways to improve on the art and provide a more intimate way to keep their clients fit both mentally and physically.
It is very much opened to the general public, cooperate bodies that seek to have a training program for their staff member, also highly recommended for professional dancers and fitness instructors.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The workshop is currently scheduled to take place from 5th to 10th of OCTOBER 2015. It will run each day, from 10am to 3.30pm (FOR DANCE) and 6:45pm to 8:15pm (FOR FITNESS). This will enable us reach as many people as possible. Workshop will be held at IGNITE Studios 13, Davies Street Lagos Island, Lagos. (Performing event space in the heart of Lagos Island initiated by SPAN). For companies, we can bring our fitness class to a venue of your choice. Participation fee: #5,00 first 20 people to register get 20% discount. Walk into any (GTBank) today, and be a part of the experience/ opportunity to be employed!
