The semi sweet white , "El Novio Perfecto" (The Perfect Boyfriend)from Valencia, Spain is finally here in Malaysia! We try it, We love it, and We want to share it with our friends and family! With an international reputation and demand, Bruno Murciano who was named the Best Sommelier 2008 in Spain teamed up with David Sampedro (the winemaker) and the Muscat family of Valsangiacomo to create the Perfect Boyfriend wine specially for women around the world!! El Novio Perfecto is an Off-dry semi sweet white wine made from Moscatel (50%) and Viura (50%) grapes coming from the Valencia D.O.. These grapes varieties are fermented separately. Moscatel is elaborated to be dry, while Viura’s fermentation is interrupted with cold, leaving the wine with a total of 50 grams per litre of residual sugar. The wine rests in stainless steel tanks before being released. In the nose, it is highly aromatic, with grape notes coming from the Moscatel grape. It has also floral (rose petal) notes and a touch of candy (coming from the ripe Viura grape). In the palate, it is light body, off-dry and very refreshing, with lime and citrus flavours and a long finish. Try it as an aperitif, with salads, pasta and rice dishes, with spicy food and Pan-Asian or Peruvian dishes. It can also be enjoyed as dessert wine, being off-dry and low in alcohol. It is a very versatile white wine indeed! We recommend serving it cold. It is a super smooth wine, very much geared towards women, soft, sweet, balanced and asks you to repeat, hence the name "The Perfect Boyfriend"
