【Another successful lake remediation project】

Big applause to Water Warriors and UM JPPHB. We remembered the lake (Tasek Varsity) was severely polluted and once experiencing algae bloom in year 2010. However, the groups had put in a lot of effort in controlling the water quality and hence bring back "life" to the lake. The video captured the sweetest moment of lake revival.

The river ecosystem has to be preserved and by doing this, we are able to give a "life" to the river. The Limmat river in Zurich is another good example of riverside tourism in the middle of a metropolitan city.

Grease traps installation has been made mandatory for all operating restaurants, hotels and eateries commercial premises by most local councils in Malaysia. Wondered what is collected in the grease trap? Answer: oil & grease and these oil and grease will harden in room temperature.

If these grease traps are not serviced regularly, the hardened grease (grease cake🍰) will fill up the stainless steel box and lead to overflow, hence backflow washing water and bad odour.

Imagine if the grease cake flows into the pipes downstream and clog the pipes, how much cost incurred for pipes replacement?

Biological Preventive Solution: newly formulated enzyme can be directly poured into the grease traps to rapidly digest the grease cake and hence prevent pipes clogging and bad odour.
