cephalo are set to perform in Malaysia for the very first time on 4 October!

Expect a dense wash of fuzzed-out guitars, hazy melodies, crushing walls of sound and dreamlike atmosphere — music that moves between delicate beauty and sheer volume.

Joining cephalo is local act FUAD — a rising homegrown alternative indie sibling duo from the quiet suburbs of Shah Alam. They have quickly become one of the most endearing and refreshing acts in the local indie scene.

.andr [Shedding Skin ] 2026 Asia Tour in Malaysia

Andr  (an-der) is a rising Taiwanese artist known for her experimental bedroom pop sound that blends indie pop, indie rock, and alternative R&B. She crafted songs using guitar and field recordings, developing a distinctive style marked by fluid transitions between Mandarin and English. Andr has been selected twice for Spotify RADAR and Apple Music’s “Up Next” artist programs. In November last year, she was also featured on a Times Square billboard in New York, reflecting her recognition as one of the new generation of Asian artists with international potential. 

Her genre-blurring sound and haunting vocals have gained attention across Asia, as well as at SXSW Austin, Clockenflap, and Reeperbahn Festival. In addition to winning multiple awards locally, it is even more remarkable that she has also received recognition overseas, such as Best New Artist / Best Album at Singapore’s FRESHMUSIC Awards, Best Asian Artist at Japan’s TOKYO ALTER MUSIC AWARDS, and Best New Artist at Mainland China’s HMA, demonstrating her tremendous potential for overseas development.

NO NOISE is happening tonight at Live Fact. This show is curated to let the bands make all the noise. Expect loud music, walls of distortion, raw noise, and a whole lot of fun.

Hem is a four-piece band from Ipoh that has been actively performing at various events across Ipoh and throughout Malaysia. Their debut EP received an enthusiastic response from music fans both within and beyond Perak.

Vert is a grunge revival and noise rock band based in Ayer Itam, Batu Pahat. Their music is raw, noisy, and dirty, driven by emotional and melancholic lyrics that capture the spirit of underground alternative music.

Crux is a group of young musicians from Kuala Lumpur who thrive on loud and chaotic sounds. Drawing influence from punk, grunge, and alternative rock, the band delivers high-energy live performances that resonate with underground music enthusiasts.

Paylark is an independent band originally from Alor Setar and currently based in Kuala Lumpur. Active since last year, the band draws inspiration from acts such as Nirvana, Helmet, and Deftones. Rooted in grunge, Paylark combines heavy noise with their own distinct style and sound.

Walk-ins are welcome! RM40 at the door, payable by cash or QR payment. Show starts at 8pm.

Japanese indie rock and dream-pop Band The fin. returns to Malaysia on 18 July for their new album “Somewhere Between” Asia Tour 2026 at Live Fact.

Formed in 2010, the group is widely recognized for its “Europhilic” musical approach, blending elements of synth-pop, chillwave, shoegaze, and psychedelic grooves.
