Before becoming the founder of Sciara, Stef Yim worked as a sommelier in some of Los Angeles’ finest restaurants.

Inspired by the purity and energy of volcanic wines, he left the restaurant floor to pursue a different path—crafting wines that express Mount Etna’s extraordinary terroir through altitude, old vines, and minimal intervention.

Today, every bottle of Sciara is a reflection of the mountain itself.
