Etamax Boats A Malaysian-Australian JV for manufacturing aluminum boats. We believe our boats are the strongest and have never failed in Malaysia.

Quite simply, aluminium is the best shipbuilding material available commercially. From Car Ferries to little Cartoppers, all kinds of vessel are made from aluminium. It is the only material that can be used for making such a wide range of vessels. Not Fibreglass, not Steel, not Wood. The advantages that aluminium has that makes it superior are:

Withstands impact and normal wear and tear far better than fibreglass
Low maintenance
Trouble free operation for years
Lightness
Requires less power to propel

For the Commercial operator the low maintenance and high-durability factors are the most important. For the recreational buyer the lightness makes it more user friendly and cheaper to power. Smaller engines can be used to achieve similar performance. Aluminium boats more than justify their higher prices and for the Commercial operator is really the only choice. This is why they have been so successful in commercial operation.
