In conjunction with WAK Festival 2026, we brought the spirit of Sarawak to life through an exciting, hands-on cocktail experience featuring 1602 — Sarawak’s pioneering b**r brand! 🍻🔥

💥 Local B**r. Local Ingredients. Extraordinary Flavours.

Our participants stepped behind the bar and into the world of mixology, exploring the art of local brewing while discovering how 1602 b**r can be transformed into creative cocktails inspired by the bold, distinctive flavours of Sarawak. 🌺🍋🌿

From learning the secrets behind local brewing to mixing, shaking, and tasting their very own b**r creations, it was an experience filled with flavour, fun, creativity, and a whole lot of Sarawakian pride!

This was more than just a cocktail session — it was a celebration of our local heritage, homegrown craftsmanship, and the endless possibilities of Sarawak-inspired mixology. ❤️

A huge shout-out to the WAK Festival 2026 organisers, our partners, and all the enthusiastic participants who made this session such a fantastic experience!

Receiving this prestigious recognition at the “Soul of Borneo Gala Evening”, presented by the Premier of Sarawak, YAB Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, was truly a special and memorable moment for our entire team.

But behind this recognition are the people who make ZOZO what it is — the passion, dedication, long days, late nights and countless little details that come together to create every experience.

This award is a celebration of our entire ZOZO BEANS & BOOZE family. ❤️

We are sincerely grateful to the Premier of Sarawak for presenting this honour and for his continued support of Sarawak’s food, tourism and hospitality industry.

A Truly Memorable Evening at ZOZO! 👨‍🍳✨

Last night was an unforgettable moment for all of us at ZOZO Beans & Booze as we had the incredible honour of welcoming the legendary Chef Martin Yan to our restaurant during his visit to Kuching.

For many, Chef Martin Yan is an icon who has inspired generations with his passion for Chinese cuisine and his famous motto, “If Yan Can Cook, So Can You!” Having him dine with us was a privilege beyond words.

What made the evening even more special was the reunion between Chef Martin Yan and our boss Chef Billy, who had the honour of being one of Chef Martin Yan’s apprentices. It was a heartwarming moment to witness a mentor and his student reconnect, sharing stories, laughter, and their mutual passion for culinary excellence.

At ZOZO, we are committed to bringing authentic flavours, creativity, and heartfelt hospitality to every guest. Having a culinary legend experience our food is a proud milestone that inspires our entire team to continue pursuing excellence.

Thank you, Chef Martin Yan, for taking the time to visit us. Your encouragement means the world to us, and we hope to welcome you back again on your next visit to Kuching.

We were truly honoured to host SHEDA - Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association for their Chinese New Year celebration at our ZOZO Beans & Booze recently 🧧✨

It was a wonderful evening filled with joy, laughter, and festive spirit as everyone came together to celebrate the auspicious occasion. We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful gathering and to serve your esteemed guests.

A huge thank you to Mr. Francisco Javier Rodríguez Álvarez and Mr. Alfonso Díez Rodríguez from Spain for conducting an incredible session with our service crew this week! Our team had the chance to explore a variety of Spanish w**es and cheeses, gaining deeper knowledge and appreciation for the rich flavours of Spain.
