Last night, Backdoor Bodega shared its perspective on Malaysian mixology, transforming familiar flavours into thoughtful creations that invite a new way of discovery. ​

Among the highlights, R.B.S cocktail with the vibrant flavour of burnt cheese and Worcestershire sauce brought a mind-blowing contrast to an expression of our local burger, where notes of clarified milk and burnt cheese were elevated through the depth of Don Julio Blanco. ​

Tonight marks the final invitation to discover the remaining creations and experience their interpretation of Malaysia’s familiar flavours through a different lens. ​

What began with four cocktails became two evenings of shared discovery.

Over two nights, Mars Chang brought the spirit of To Infinity & Beyond, Taipei, to Cacao Mixology & Chocolate, where every pour became an invitation to discover, connect, and share.

Together with Código 1530, the bar became a meeting place for craftsmanship, conversation, and new perspectives—proof that the finest collaborations are remembered not only for what is served, but for how they bring people together.

Until the next guest behind the bar, as another of Asia’s 50 Best Bars prepares to write the next chapter this August.
