Taking speakeasy to the next level, Three X Co was conceptualised by three good friends who aspires to create a bar of their unique taste and style. Partnering with renown Mixologist and Winner of the Giffard West Cup 2017 International Competition, David Hans, this will be his first signature bar showcasing his flair and finesse in creating world-class cocktails and serving only the finest spirits from around the world. Four years after our last Nusantara takeover, we’re revisiting the idea with a new line-up of bartenders from across the region.

Nusantara 2.0 celebrates Indonesian bartenders who may have built their careers far from home, but continue to carry with them a shared cultural world — rooted in Indonesian hospitality and the spirit of gathering.

Joining us for one night are Agung, Laura and Prashant of PENICILLIN Hong Kong, known for their progressive cocktails, fermentation and creative approach to sustainability; veteran Kiki Moka of The Cocktail Club Jakarta , bringing years of experience and the easy-going spirit of Jakarta’s cocktail scene; and Dicky of Firefly Bar , bringing Firefly’s playful and imaginative approach to cocktails.

The original Nusantara shift was an all-Indonesian affair. This time, Kiki is our link to the original — while Prashant, our honorary Indonesian for the night, gets a pass.

Expect great cocktails, good friends and a little havoc!

Join us as we celebrate our dear friend Manny Manny Samaniego before he embarks on his next chapter beyond Kuala Lumpur. For one night only, we’re welcoming back a familiar face to the city- Rohan Matmary for a special guest shift at Three X Co.

For many in KL’s bar community, Rohan needs little introduction. A long-time friend of the bar and a familiar figure in the region’s hospitality scene, he now co-leads Cameo - Bistro & Bar in Bengaluru with Head Bartender Anisha Biswas.

Perched atop Bengaluru’s Museum of Art & Photography (MAP), Bar Cameo is India’s first cocktail bar housed within a museum, bringing together art, music and hospitality in a space that feels both culturally significant and effortlessly welcoming.

Together, Rohan and Anisha will be shaking up cocktails and sharing a few stories as we send Manny off in the company of good friends.

This September, we’re honoured to welcome Yangdup Lama Yangdup Lama for a one-night-only guest shift at Three X Co.

A true icon of the global bar community, Mr Lama is the co-founder of some of India’s most influential hospitality ventures, including Sidecar, Cocktails & Dreams Speakeasy, The Brook, Bar Stormy Hyderabad and the educational platform India Bartender Show. Over nearly three decades, he has played a defining role in shaping cocktail culture across India and beyond.

Mr Lama’s impact extends far beyond the drinks he creates. As a bartender, mentor, educator and industry leader, he has inspired and nurtured generations of hospitality professionals while helping place Indian cocktail scene firmly on the global stage.

His accolades include appearances on the Drinks International Bar World 100, the Industry Legend Award at India’s 30 Best Bars, and Industry Icon Award at Asia’s 50 Best Bars.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us. To be recognised as The Best Bar in Malaysia at this year’s The World’s 50 Best Bars is something we never dared to dream of, but always aimed for as a goal. Thank you for the honour — and for placing us at No. 32 in this year’s list. It’s truly humbling to be recognised alongside so many incredible bars on the list.

To our Malaysia bar community — you are so dear to us, and we couldn’t have done this without you. We love you so much!

To our team: thank you for your resilience and your potential. As we always say — let’s continue to be proficient in our roles, genuine with everyone, and tango through every service.
