Meeting new people doesn’t get harder because we’re older. It gets harder because life gets fuller.

Between work, responsibilities, and the routines we settle into, most of us stop finding ourselves in rooms with people we don’t already know.

A slow public holiday evening of good company, and staying for one more glass.

🍒 Lalù Barbera d’Alba 2023 — vibrant and juicy with red berries, floral lift, soft spice, and bright acidity. Fresh, silky, and dangerously easy to drink. Made using three different fermentation styles — whole bunch, whole berry, and crushed fruit — then aged in concrete tanks for extra freshness and texture.

🍷 William Downie Cathedral Pinot Noir — an elegant Aussie Pinot Noir with bright cherry notes, earthy layers, and a silky smooth finish. Made with minimal intervention winemaking — letting the vineyard and vintage speak for themselves.

🪨 Le Caillou — a smooth, fruit-forward French red with ripe berry notes, soft tannins, and an easy-drinking finish. “Le Caillou” means “the stone” in French — a nod to the rocky soils that give the wine its character and depth.
