A little behind-the-bar business. 🎥🍸

Evan and the band were shooting his just-released **Drunkard’s Song** right here inside Happy Life Bar…

and of course, Tiger Boss had to be there — enjoying the scene with a drink in hand.

Cameras rolling.
Lights burning.
Glasses clinking.

Nobody really knows whether this was an MV shoot or just another suspiciously productive night in Mud City.

Either way, Jagu says the bar survived.

And it is not only our brothers and sisters who are in trouble.

Those who cannot speak for themselves — orangutans, hornbills, wild boars, and so many others — are losing their homes, their shelter, their lives.

All eyes on Kalimantan.

Pray for the lungs of the earth.
Pray for the people, the forests, and every life trying to survive through the smoke.

And for those of us living under this haze too —
remember to check your mask air filter, and keep a few spare filters in your pocket.

Some days, even breathing needs preparation.

This Saturday, 8 August, Evan Tesat joins forces with bassist Kent Lee and flautist Malau Cheong for a full live set built around sape, bass, flute, voice, and stories from the ABU world.

Expect an evening that moves between Bornean textures, underground rock energy, improvisation, and the kind of songs best experienced after dark with good company.
