For centuries, the Rhine has been more than a river. It has been a trade route, a source of life, and one of Europe’s great wine corridors.
On 23 August, we’ll trace its path through Alsace and various regions in Germany, exploring how geography, climate and history have shaped the wines of each region — from the aromatic vineyards of Alsace, through the warmer landscapes of Pfalz and the diverse soils of Rheinhessen, to the steep slate slopes of Mosel.
Taste six wines from four regions, with light bites included throughout the afternoon:
🍷 Achillée Gewurztraminer Hespéride 2022 (Alsace)
🍷 Kumpf et Meyer Y'A Plus Qu'A NV (Alsace)
🍷 Christian Binner Elsassisch Is Bombisch 2023 (Alsace)
🍷 Brand Bros Pinot Blanc 2022 (Pfalz)
🍷 D.B. Schmitt Müller-Thurgau 2022 (Rheinhessen)
🍷 Schloss Lieser Goldstück Riesling Trocken 2020 (Mosel)
