With that being said, if you want to meet a bunch of kickass legends and create memories that will last ‘til tomorrow morning’s blackout, then you’ve found the right place. The AC is always fixed at 18 degrees, the bar is always stocked with cold beers and the common room vibes are set to maximum. Red Monkey Party Hostel is located 1min walk (or a 3min drunken crawl) from Georgetown’s nightlife hot spots. It runs directly off Chulia Street which not only hosts the city’s famous food market stalls but also numerous bars and clubs. Being in the downtown it is also close to some of Georgetown’s famous sights and murals as well as being in close proximity to all the major public transport routes to get you wherever you need to go, night and day. Penang Times Square is 1.3 km from Red Monkey Party Hostel, while Prangin Mall is 600m from the property. The nearest airport is Penang International Airport, 15 km away and will set ya back roughly 20-30RM if you order a Grab (we got it slightly cheaper cos we offered to blow the driver).
