We are tremendously sad to hear that one of our favorite Blues guitarists, Tim Williams, has passed away. He came and played the festival numerous times from the very early years and every few years since. He loved Mexico and especially Zihuatanejo.

Originally from Southern California, Tim Williams, decided to make a Canadian out of himself in the 1970’s, and he has been a big part of the Calgary Blues scene beside several Blues achievements in the US. He has recorded many albums with his own music, toured the world and even invited local guitarist Jossy Gallegos to tour Canada with him.

You are loved by many and will be missed by more, no “More Pepper in Your Chili”...
