I wanted a room you wander into barefoot.

The palapa gives shade and that soft, filtered light I love.

We kept the black steel windows to frame the garden and pull the breeze through.

Terracotta underfoot because it holds up to sand, salt, and wet glasses.

I designed a long built-in bench so everyone fits. Linen cushions you can wash. Striped pillows for a hit of Baja color.

Woven stools shift with the moment. A weathered wood table that can take coffee, cards, or mezcal without fuss.

A branching chandelier floats overhead, glass orbs glowing like a small constellation.

Swipe and the view widens.

The room opens to sky and terrace through a wall of glass.

At the entry, pattern meets pattern: a striped woven bench under a large painting.

White sofas, inky textiles, and charcoal stone keep it calm.

layered the room with handwoven forms and warm cane textures.

Sculptural baskets, mesh pendants, and a blue tile “carpet” ground the round table in color and craft. The palette nods to the Riviera blues outside and the Baja earth within.
